Olly was my partner, my friend and my mate. I came across this blog because I have had the horrible news only today. I had the pleasure and the privilege to be his girlfriend and all I can say is I will never forget him until I have breath. A piece of my soul is dying today, and I can’t stop crying, thinking on our moments. You will be in my heart forever, my beloved angel. May your beautiful soul rest in peace.

I have been searching for information about Oliver Lassman, who used to work with me in IT back in the naughties. I found this page and I have to say your tribute is both beautiful written and deeply poignant. I have no idea whether I have connected to the right Ollie, but right now no matter. This is a lovely tribute, and I salute you sir.

Thank you for these wonderful memories of my lovely boy. An exceptional mind and a brilliant sense of humour. We spent many hours debating some of the extraordinary ideas which he had and he often used to say he was intellectully slumming but enjoyed every minute of it! May his dear and beautiful soul rest in ever lasting peace.

Olly and I only had the pleasure of a trip to Amsterdam to get to know eachother…Visharad Vernugopal was our friend in common at the time. In those few days I was able to ascertain that Olly is ,as so well put above, a man of hilarity and good character in perfect alchemical proportions. My memory does somewhat fail me when it come to details but I do remember at one point being in a park and watching a dog apparently walk on water (there was invisible ice which allowed for such a breakage in the laws of physics!!!) and Olly shouting out in a perfect mock Dutch action “Its the Jesus dog” which was the ensuing joke of our narcotic trip.
I can still see his face clearly in my memory, his long jaw and enlivened eyes that effervesced as twinklesome stars in a laughter-struck night…in short he was a man of wit and a deep appreciation of the finer details of life which when invoked can be the source of such good humour.
So, I can say that the sun has set on another fine comic….no doubt his angel wings are fluttering up a stir in the next dimension as we speak…may the tragedy of his end by erased by the tsunami of grace that he brought through into this world…Let it be…Let it be…Love and Light to all those mourning his passing. emma is a twitter bully who gets off on having a go at anyone who disagrees with her. it is amazing that she has a go at people rather than ignore or block. it seems that she imagines that she should be the only public peson that doesn’t receive less tha enthusiatic comments. she has a high opinion of herself and talent. she doesn’t allow comments on her guardian column either.

I met Dave about twice… And I can wholeheartedly agree that even on the periphery of my life, I always remembered his warmth and smile and love… And I WISH TO GOD that I could go back two weeks and message him, just to say ‘hi Dave’ and just thank him for being him. I have realised how easy it is to take people for granted, and we need to nuture these one in a million people… I mean, why him? Really.

She really is a vile woman, I unfollowed her after watching many similar situations she had with others. She is arrogant, rude and deluded, watch the Smoking Room and you can have a fictional reason to dislike her too, her character is truly vile, possibly the writer saw something in her that suited the role!
